KSRTC to operate 800 buses before seven days of lockdown in Karnataka

Bengaluru: The country is facing troublesome issues due to the Corona epidemic. The government is making various efforts in view of the increasing cases of Corona. A seven-day lockdown is imposed in Karnataka. In the view of safety of people, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has planned to operate 800 buses for Monday and Tuesday. These buses will be operated from Bangalore to other areas.

With the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the state, a new phase of lockdown from July 14 to July 22 is announced. KSRTC issued a notice saying that 249 buses are running from Bengaluru till 10 am today and 6,641 passengers have already traveled. Buses issued will run according to government guidelines in this ear of Coronavirus,  and all the passengers will be seated at a fixed distance.

Today, 231 buses have been booked. The notice also states that " With following the social distancing norms, passengers are being thermal screened before the journey. There are buses that are planned to operate and passengers can travel without any hassle."
