New Delhi: 1,374 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Delhi due to which the number of infected people has increased to 1,54,741 on Tuesday. The number of people who died of this infection in the city has increased to 4,226. According to the Bulletin of the Health Department, 12 more patients of coronavirus have lost their lives in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 5419 RT-PCR, CBNAAT and TRUNET tests and 14857 rapid antigen tests have been done. With which the number of investigations per 10 lakh has been 70,388.
According to the information received, the number of cases under treatment of coronavirus has increased to more than 11 thousand. So far in the city, more than 1 lakh 39 thousand patients have become healthy or have gone elsewhere. There are currently 557 coronavirus maintenance zones in Delhi.
Decline in death rate: Health department said on Tuesday that there has seen a decline in cases of new corona cases and deaths due to the disease since August 13. The death rate in the country has also come down to 2 percent. He said that the death rate per day has come down to 1.92 percent and the weekly average death rate has reached 1.94 percent. Both are below 2 percent.
