On this matter, IIT Bhubaneswar director RV Rajkumar told that we have manufactured low-cost ventilator and Prana ventilator. The cost of a low-cost ventilator is eight thousand rupees. Recommendation from ICMR is yet to come for its large number of production. He said that the ventilator has been connected to the oxygen supply and its pumping rate can be reduced or increased as per the requirement.
In his statement, Professor RV Rajkumar further told that the doctor will assess the patient's breathing frequency and set it. This device will work comfortably without any noise. He told that this ventilator is portable and weighs three kg.
