Shimla: 14 more employees deployed in defense of CM Jairam Thakur of the country's state of Himachal Pradesh were found to be COVID-19 infected. Among them, the report of samples on Monday night and Tuesday of 13 came positive. The infected include 3 drivers of the chief minister and his wife's staff, a PSO and a cook at Oak Over, the private residence of a chief minister. A total of 39 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the state on Tuesday.
It include 15 new patients in Shimla, 6 in Una, 12 in Chamba and Kangra, 2 each in Solan and Sirmaur, one each in Hamirpur. An infected worker posted under the Chief Minister's security will be shifted to DDU Shimla and the rest of the Covid Care Center in Mashobra. It should be noted that after the arrival of the driver and security personnel of the Chief Minister's squad positive, samples of 47 other security personnel were taken.
All the institutional quarantines were also done. 14 of these samples have come positive, while 8 reports are yet to come. The total number of infected in the state has reached 4245. There are 1363 active cases. 2923 patients have recovered. On Tuesday, 89 more patients have recovered. 17 people have died. 40 patients have gone outside the state. There is only one Corona positive case in Solan city. Whereas today a total of 32 COVID-19 patients became healthy. District Health Officer Dr. NK Gupta has confirmed this. The cases of corona are increasing continuously in the state.
