Rapidly infected patients are increasing between lockdown and corona infection. More than 6000 cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in Karnataka, but the good thing for the state is that the number of patients recovering is more than the new cases. According to the news agency IANS, an official informed that 120 new cases were reported from Tuesday evening to Wednesday evening, while 257 patients were discharged on Wednesday. The trend has been going on for the last few days. The number of patients in the state has increased to 6,041.

According to media reports, in the last 24 hours, cases were reported in Bengaluru Urban, Yadgir, Vijayapura, Kalburgi, and Bidar. In the new cases, 42 in Bengaluru Urban, 27 in Yadgir, 13 in Vijayapura, 11 in Kalaburgi, 5 in Bidar, 4 each in Dakshina Kannada and Dharwad, 3 each in Davanagere, Hassan and Ballari, two each in Bagalkot and Ramnagar and 1 case came up in Belagavi.

Three infected patients died during this period. A 58-year-old man from Dharwad, 32-year-old from Bengaluru Urban and a 57-year-old man died. Of the total reported cases, 3,108 active cases and 2,862 patients have been discharged. 69 people have died and 14 people are hospitalized. In the same day, active cases have come down from 3,248 to 3,108 in the last one day. In the last 24 hours, Karnataka performed 8,249 sample tests. Of this, 7,576 reports were negative. In all, 4.08 lakh sample tests have been conducted so far. Of these, 3.94 lakh reports have come negative. Udupi has the highest number of 619 active cases. After this, there are 560 active cases in Yadgir, 493 in Kalburgi, 276 in Raichur, and 244 in Bengaluru Urban.
