Three cabinet ministers, including CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, have moved to Self-Quarantine in view of the threat of Corona infection. Government spokesman Madan Kaushik has confirmed this. Actually, cabinet minister Satpal Maharaj attended the cabinet meeting on Friday before the transition was confirmed. All the cabinet ministers including Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh and other high officials of the government were present in the meeting.

In such a situation, CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, Cabinet Ministers Madan Kaushik, Subodh Uniyal and Harak Singh Rawat have decided to go to Self Quarantine. Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has canceled all the meetings taking precaution. However, other cabinet ministers will not be quarantined by the administration right now. At the same time, on the demand from the district administration, the confidential department has given the names of 15 to 20 people including five ministers. The district administration will take a decision on this. Secretary, Health Amit Negi said that in order to prevent corona infection, a guideline issued by ICMR has fixed two categories of tracing of people coming in contact with the infected person.

In case of high risk contact 14 days home quarantine will be done and sample tests will be done as per ICMR protocol. Those with low risk can do their work as before. He said that ministers and officials who attended the cabinet meeting fall under the category of low risk due to Satpal Maharaj not being in close contact. They can do their work normally.
