They will also be given Rs 1000 from the village head fund in rural areas. Municipal bodies will be responsible for their help with the care of destitutes in the cities. With the help of immediate ration and Rs 1000 for the destitute, a provision of Rs 5000 has been made for the last rites on the death of the destitute anywhere.
Apart from this, CM Yogi Adityanath has extended a hand to help the destitutes of the cities and rural areas suffering from coronavirus infection and lockdown. He has ordered that the destitute without ration card should be identified and immediately provide them 1000 rupees and sufficient ration. On his instructions, free food grains have been started once again for 18 crore people in the state from June 1. At the same time, CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered to give adequate ration to the destitute on the war footing and make their ration card immediately. They will also be given Rs 1000 from the village head fund in rural areas. In cities, this responsibility will be with the municipal body. There are orders not to stop the help of destitute even if there is no money in the fund of small gram panchayats. In such a situation, the DM of the district will provide immediate money and later get it from the CM Relief Fund.
