Conditions get worse due to corona, ICU beds in hospitals are occupied

Dehradun: All the beds of ICU have been completed in corona hospitals in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Only few beds are vacant in general, private and semi-private wards. Hospitals are also sending infected infections with low symptoms or symptoms for home isolation. In view of the rising figures of infections, private hospitals are also discussing increasing the number of beds.

The Doon Hospital was made corona hospital. Initially, only this is where covid-19 patients were being treated. But now, after suddenly increasing the number of infections, treatment has also been started in private hospitals. Almost all the beds at Doon Hospital have already been completed. In view of this, treatment of COVID-19 patients has been allowed at CMI Hospital, Srimahanta Indireesh Hospital and Himalayan Hospital Jaungrant.

In just a couple of days, most of the corona beds have been filled in these hospitals. Hospitals are forced to return patients. 120 beds have been reserved at Srimahanta Indireesh Hospital. These include 20 ICU and 10 general oxygen ward beds. Bhupendra Rathudi, senior public relations officer of the hospital, said that all the beds of the ICU are full. The remaining beds will also be filled soon. In view of the increasing number of patients, beds can be increased in hospitals. With this, corona cases in the state are continuously increasing.
