Instead of being home quarantined after being discharged from Doon Hospital, the woman who was Corona positive reached her brother admitted to Corona Hospital. There was a stir in the hospital staff, admitted patients as soon as their information was received. Due to wrong date recorded on the discharge slip of the girl, the confusion has spread that she has been discharged within five days. On this, people demanded to remove the girl from the hospital. The Health Department team quickly shifted the girl to Corona Care Center. According to the information received, a 17-year-old teenager from Chamoli was injured by falling from the roof a few days ago. She was first admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh and then to Corona Hospital.

Her 22-year-old sister also lived with her in the hospital. Meanwhile, the woman was tested for corona symptoms, which confirmed her positive, after which the girl was admitted to Doon Hospital. On Monday, the young woman was discharged from the hospital instructed to remain at home quarantine. After being discharged from the hospital, the woman reached her brother who was undergoing treatment at the Corona Hospital. On Tuesday, the patients and hospital staff got information about this, there was a stir in the hospital. Other admitted patients and officials demanded the removal of the positive patient from there and many people expressed their opposition to this. He said that a woman who is corona positive should not be kept with normal patients. On this, the Health Department team shifted the girl to the Covid Care Center at Survey Chowk.

Covid Nodal Officer Dr NS Khatri said that according to the new guideline, during the 10 days of hospitalization, there is a system of home quarantine for patients who do not show any symptoms. He said that the girl was admitted to Doon Hospital on 28 May, from where she was discharged on 8 June. He said that during this time two samples of the girl's brother were taken, in which the report has been negative. However, the young man has many other problems, due to which he needs to be admitted to the hospital for the present. He said that according to the set guidelines, the girl was discharged after being admitted for 10 days. However, the date of enrollment in the discharge slip was mistakenly written as of June 3 instead of May 28, which created this confusion.
