There have been 43,893 new cases of corona infection in the last 24 hours in India. With the arrival of new cases, the number of corona infected has reached 79,90,322. 508 new deaths have been filed in the last 24 hours. The number of those who died of infection has been 1,20,010. So far, the number of active cases in the country has been 6,10,803. In the last 24 hours, this number has decreased by 15,054. It is being told that 72,59,509 people have been cured of the infection so far and 58,439 people have been cured in the last 24 hours. According to the information received, the rate of recovery from corona infection in the country has been 90.62% and the death rate has been reduced to 1.50%.
Recently, the Health Ministry said that during the festive season, new cases of corona infection have increased in Kerala, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Delhi. Apart from this, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan also said that people have to be vigilant and to avoid corona, wearing masks and washing hands periodically is very important. He said that cases are increasing in some states during festivals, so it is necessary to adopt these measures.
In the last 24 hours, 58% deaths from corona infection have been filed in Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Delhi and Chhattisgarh. In the past 24 hours, 318 new cases of corona infection have been reported in Jharkhand. It comprises 127 from Ranchi, 28 from Bokaro, 18 from Deoghar, 17 from Dhanbad, 1 from Dumka, 43 from East Singhbhum, 6 from Godda, 2 from Giridih, 9 from Gumla, 3 from Jamtara, 4 from Koderma, 4 from Latehar. 3 new cases have been reported from Lohardaga, 21 from Pakur, 6 from Palamu, 8 from Ramgarh, 1 from Sahibganj, 2 from Seraikela, 1 from Simdega, West Singhbhum.
