There is a period of ups and downs in the cases of Covid in the country. In the last 24 hours, 36,011 new cases of infection have been reported. On Saturday, 36,652 new cases of Covid-19 were reported. There has been a slight decline in daily cases on Sunday as compared to Saturday. The total number of infected people in the country has crossed 96 million. Out of which more than 91 lakh people have become infection free, as well as the national rate of recovery of infected people has increased to 94.20%.

According to the data released by the Health Department at 8 am, the number of infected people has increased to 96,44,222 with 36,011 new cases of infection reported in the country. After the death of 482 more people, the number of dead has increased to 1,40,182.

So far 91,00,792 people defeated corona infection in the country. The death rate in the country is 1.45%. According to statistics, 4,03,248 patients are undergoing treatment at this time. For the past many days, the number of active cases has remained below 5 lakh. In the last 24 hours, 41,970 patients have returned to their homes after recovering from the hospital.
