The Uttarakhand government on Friday decided that the lockdown in the state would continue till April 30. At the same time, in the meeting of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and other officers including Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar, the proposal has been prepared, while setting the framework for the exit from the lockdown. At the same time, this proposal can be sent to the Central Government soon. This policy can be implemented as soon as the approval of the Center. According to the policy of the state government, educational institutions will open in the state only after May 15. The government has divided the districts into two classes according to the spread of corona infection.

Along with this, there are those districts in the first class A where not a single case has been reported yet or no case can come up till April 14. Along with this, there are those districts in the second class B where cases of corona infection have come up. Or is expected to come forward by 14 April. The state government plans to implement the ban in hotspots and class B districts and relax it to some extent in class A districts. It is important that now wearing masks in public places will be made compulsory.

The state government decided


1. Lockdown will remain in all districts till April 30. There will be two classes of districts. There will be districts in A category where not a single corona positive case has been found till 14 April. In class B, there will be districts where positive cases have been met or there is a possibility of more by April 14.
- Some concessions will be given in districts with A category.
- Restrictions will continue in B class districts.
2. Any movement in areas with hotspots marked in the districts will be completely banned. Here the administration will make arrangements for ration and other important items.
3. By April 30, there will be a ban on the submission of more than five people anywhere in the state and section 144 will remain in force.
4. It will be mandatory to wear masks in public places throughout the state till 31 May and the policy of social distancing will also remain in force till this date.
5. The Indo-Nepal border will remain sealed till 30 April and transport between states will also remain open under the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
6. The boundaries of class B districts will remain sealed and the transport of goods will also not be within the boundaries of the districts. Concession in transportation can be granted in class A districts with the permission of the Collector. There will be no movement between class A and class B districts. Currently applicable passes will be valid. Health tests etc. will continue.
7. Assessing the risk of leaving the hotspot areas, DM will be able to allow construction, industrial production and mining.
8. Permission of stamps and registrations in all districts under rules.
