More than 180 countries of the world have been coronated by Corona. The country is trying its best to deal with it. All the same, IITs across the country are engaged in beating Corona in their own way. In this sequence, IIT Jodhpur has constructed such a device, which will work to eliminate the coronavirus. With the help of this technique developed by the scientists here, other devices including masks, aprons, PPE kits can be used again.

For your information, let us tell you that Professor Ram Prakash, who led the team making this device, said that IIT Jodhpur has developed technology based on Advanced Photocatalytic Oxidation Sterilization System. This device can be used to sterilize medical accessories used by doctors and medical devices used to treat corona patients.

It is currently being used in the re-use of the N-95 mask amid the outbreak of the virus. The testing of this device has been done by Dr. Vijayalakshmi Nag, Head of Department of Microbiology and Dr. Vibhor Tak, Associate Professor of AIIMS Jodhpur. Prof. Ramprakash said that all the departments have prepared this device together in 15 days. Director of IIT Jodhpur, Shantanu Chaudhary said that this experiment is the need of the hour. He said that we are ready to transfer this equipment to industry at zero cost.
