Ayodhya's Ram Temple is all set to hold a series of rituals and events from January 16 to January 22 as part of the consecration ceremony. This grand event will witness the consecration of Lord Ram in his child-like form, known as Ram Lalla, on January 22. Among the esteemed guests anticipated to attend are Prime Minister Narendra Modi, prominent cricketers, celebrities, industrialists, saints, and representatives from various countries.

The meticulously planned rituals will commence on January 16 and span seven consecutive days until January 22. The schedule for these rituals has been released by the Temple trust, as under. Let's take a glimpse at the lineup of events and rituals scheduled between January 16 and January 22 as part of the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya:

January 16: The designated host by the Temple trust will lead the atonement ceremony, involving the 'Dashvidh' bath on the banks of the river Saryu. Rituals encompassing Vishnu worship and Godan will also take place.

January 17: A procession carrying the idol of Lord Ram in his child-like form (Ram Lalla) will traverse, accompanied by devotees bearing Saryu water in Mangal Kalash.

January 18: A series of rituals including Ganesh Ambika Puja, Varun Puja, Matrika Puja, Brahmin Varan, and Vastu Puja are on the schedule.

January 19: Activities such as Agni Sthapana, Navagraha Sthapana, and Havan are planned for this day.

January 20: The sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple will undergo purification with the sacred water from Saryu, followed by rituals including Vaastu Shanti and Annadhivas.

January 21: A divine bath with 125 urns for the deity of Ram Lalla and the Shayadhivas ritual are set to take place.

January 22: Morning worship of the deity of Ram Lalla will culminate in its consecration during the afternoon in the Mrigashira Nakshatra.

Eminent personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Mukesh Ambani, Ratan Tata, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Sonia Gandhi from the Congress party, and former PM Manmohan Singh have been extended invitations to grace the ceremony on January 22.
