No covid19 cases in 325 districts of the country: Health Ministry

On Thursday, today, between the Coronavirus crisis in the country, there has been a joint press conference of the Ministry of Health and Home Affairs. Punya Salila Srivastava, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, said that under lockdown, the movement of passengers from air, rail and roads will be closed till 3 May. Cab services including taxis, auto rickshaws, cycle rickshaws will be restricted. All educational and related institutions will remain closed. All cinema halls, malls, shopping complexes, sports complexes and other such institutions will remain closed. All social, political, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural, religious ceremonies and other gatherings will be banned.

In his statement, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health, Luv Agarwal said that as per the action taken at the field level in our fight so far, there are 325 districts where no case has come. If our death rate is 3.3 percent, then the percentage of people who have recovered so far is around 12.02.

Apart from this, Luv Aggarwal said that the Health Minister and the Minister of State held a video conferencing yesterday, which included the World Health Organization health officers and field officials. In this, micro plan for clusters and outbreak of COVID19 was discussed at the district level. An action plan has been prepared to strengthen our ongoing surveillance using the services of the National Polio Surveillance Network team of the World Health Organization.
