New Delhi: New cases of coronavirus infection are on the rise in the country but the good news is also coming in the meantime. Though more than 3 lakh cases have been registered for the third consecutive day today, the number of patients recovering in the meantime is also large. Let us also tell all of you that during the second wave of infection, the number of active cases in the country has increased from 3.45 lakh (March 23) to 24.28 lakh (April 23) in the last month. Similarly, in the last month, 40,715 new cases were registered on 23rd March and 3,32,730 new cases were reported on 23rd April. If we look at the data released by the Health Ministry, 199 people died in a day on March 23, a month later, 2,263 covid patients died on April 23.

The recovery rate on March 23 was 95.67 percent, while on April 23, 83. It is at 92 percent. In the last one month, the positivity rate (percentage of those found infected in total testing) has increased considerably in most of the States. Looking at a report by a well-known website, the weekly average positivity rate in India has increased from 4.2 percent to 18.4 percent in the last month. This means that about 18 people are getting corona positive in the investigation of 100 people in the country. The weekly positivity rate in Chhattisgarh has increased from 3.8 percent (March 23) to 30.4 percent in the last month. At the same time, in Delhi, it is 1. It has increased from 1% to 27.8 percent. Last Friday, 24,331 persons were found positive in a test of 75,037 samples in Delhi. Delhi's positivity rate on Friday could be said to be 32.43 percent.
