Magh Mela 2023, the conductor of self-restraint, ordination, and culture, has flourished on the Triveni coast. Devotees had started taking a dip of faith in the holy Triveni since morning. Thousands of people took a dip in the Ganga Ghats built in Sectors 3, 4, and 5. The process of taking a dip in the Ganga at the Sangam and other banks has started since dawn. As the day progressed, although the blanket of fog started reducing, the faith of the devotees seemed to be overshadowed by the chilling cold. While taking a bath in the Sangam, a large number of devotees silently chanted Har Har Mahadev, Jai Gange, and Om Namah Shivay.
After taking a silent dip of faith, the devotees worshiped Mother Ganga with rituals and offered milk. Offering water to the Sun God wished for happiness, prosperity, and health of the family. Magh Mela Officer Arvind Singh Chauhan informed that this time the fair area has been set up in a 700-hectare area and six sectors. Sadhus, saints, and Kalpavasis get facilities in their sectors only, so this arrangement has been made.
