Thiruvamparambu: The strong crude bomb explosion leads to five injuries and two of them seriously, as per the police. Rajesh, Sub-Inspector of Nadapuram said, “The five were engaged in making crude bombs at a empty place when the explosion took place around 9.30 PM yesterday,

Rajesh added, “All of them have been admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital and Cases under sections 3 and 5 of Explosive Substances Act were registered against them”

The occurrence comes at a time when the campaigning for the May 16 Assembly polls has picked up drive and top leaders involving Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and Rahul Gandhi are scheduled to visit Kerala in the first week of next month.
