The summer season has arrived and in this season, the body has problems in many ways. However, among all this, a new study has claimed that heat may also be one of the causes of death from cardiovascular disease i.e. CVD. Yes, a recent study published in the journal BMJ Open revealed that, when the temperature increases on a summer night, men are at a higher risk of death from a heart attack or stroke. Not only this but according to this study, only an increase in temperature by one degree Celsius above the normal heat increases this fear by about four percent.

Apart from this, the study also claimed that the risk affects only men between the ages of 60 and 65, but it has no effect on women. Let us tell you all that this conclusion has been revealed in a study of 40,000 deaths related to heart disease in the last 15 years in the UK. In fact, researchers say that now the summer nights are getting hotter and the biggest reason for this is climate change. In such a situation, the results of the study are worrying. At the same time, deaths due to this can increase in the coming time and the hot weather is considered to be a risk for the heart. Most of all for those who are already struggling with heart-related diseases. According to the study, the risk of death due to heat at night has not been found in men over the age of 65.

In fact, it is being said that the researchers have not been able to understand this reason at the moment. On the other hand, this problem was not seen in women between the ages of 60 and 65. In such a situation, researchers are now considering studying this risk in women separately. Let us tell you that experts from the UK welcomed this study that explains the dangers of hot weather for people suffering from heart disease. On the other hand, experts also said that in the last 10 years, the rise in temperature on summer nights has been recorded more. In such a situation, through this study, ways to avoid it can be found in the future. Apart from this, the researchers say that using air conditioners (AC) while sleeping at night, using curtains to protect the rooms from getting hot, and drinking the right amount of water can avoid this risk.
