Ratnagiri: A sudden explosion took place in a house in Shetye Nagar in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, in the early hours of Wednesday. In this blast, 2 women died, while 2 others were seriously injured. They are undergoing treatment at the district government hospital. The painful thing in this accident is that after the blast, 2 women were buried under the slab, they could not be taken out, so a crane was called. Rescue work started for two hours with the help of cranes. But due to the delay, both the women trapped under the slab died. 
 
The same news was received that Ashfaq Kazi, a rickshaw driver from Shetye Nagar, woke up as early as usual on Wednesday. Then they lit the house lights. Due to this, there was a loud explosion in the house suddenly. The blast was so dangerous that the roof of the house collapsed, while the doors and glass of nearby houses were also broken.  

Four people were injured in the accident. Meanwhile, 2 women were buried under the slab. A crane tried for two hours to rescue these women. But the women buried in the debris died. The other injured persons have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. At the same time, the names of the women who died in the blast are Kaneez Kazi and Nurunisa Alzi. It is being speculated that the blast was caused by a primary gas leak, but given the seriousness of the case, it will be clear only after the police investigation.
