In the auto sector, Datsun has launched a CVT version of its Go hatchback and Go Plus (GO +) MPV, which are priced at Rs 5.94 lakh and Rs 6.58 lakh respectively. Both these models are CVT models available in India. Automatic versions are available in T and T (O) trims. Both the Go Hatchback and Go Plus models have a 1.2 liter three cylinder petrol engine. The same engine has also been given in the manual model of the car. If you talk about the automatic variant, then it has an updated engine which generates power of 77hp. Whereas the engine given in manual variant generates 68hp power. Both engines generate a peak torque of 104Nm.
One thing to note is that the T (O) trim has a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play. Apart from this, the car gets rear washer / wipers, manual air conditioning, electrically adjustable ORVMs, LED DRLs and 14 inch diamond cut alloy wheels. Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) has been given as a safety feature. This is the first car to feature in this segment. The car gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, seat belt reminder and rear parking sensors. Booking for CVT variants started only last month. CVT model can be booked by paying Rs 11,000. For booking you can visit the showrooms of Datsun or Nissan. In the Indian market, these cars will compete with Tata Tiago, Hyundai Santro, Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Renault Triber.
