Dhanbad: 15 members of a family died in a fire that broke out at Aashirwad Building in Jharkhand's Dhanbad district, police said on Sunday. In this fire, bride Swati not only lost her mother Mala Devi but also lost her grandmother, aunt, and cousin Aman. Even after this huge calamity, the bride's father Subodh Lal Srivastava somehow completed the rituals of his daughter's wedding, but after that, his patience was broken at SNMMCH Hospital. While consoling the newly married bride Swati, who reached the mortuary of the hospital for the last glimpse of her mother and grandfather, father Subodh was saying, 'Daughter, you have to be courageous. Saying this, Subodh started crying bitterly in the hospital's verandah.'

The family had hidden the fact that her mother had passed away from daughter Swati due to marriage so that the marriage could be completed somehow. However, during the wedding rituals, she was repeatedly looking for her mother. Swati was asking people where the mother is, and why she is not visible. On this, the relatives said that due to sudden deterioration of health, she has been admitted to the hospital and everything is fine.

Actually, Swati had a deep attachment to her mother, so the family was not telling her that her mother was no longer in this world. After the wedding rituals were completed and the farewell, she was informed about it, after which she insisted on coming to the hospital. The family explained to her that it is not possible for her to come here and it would be inauspicious. After this, seeing the condition of the new bride Swati and her stubbornness, her in-laws first took her to Aashirwad Apartment and then to SNMMCH Hospital where she went to the mortuary and paid her last respects to her mother. After seeing the mother's body, Swati's condition worsened and she became unconscious, she could not even walk on her feet. The family supported her and pulled her out of the hospital and her in-laws took her to Giridih. After the massive fire, Jharkhand minister Banna Gupta reached Ashirwad Tower where he visited the spot.
