Mehbooba tweeted with her Twitter handle, writing that, "Security forces have laid siege to the Maitribagh area of Shopian and did not allow people to vote in the fifth phase of the DDC election on the pretext of reports of the presence of terrorists. Thus, security forces are being used to benefit party-specific in elections. "

She also alleged that he is not being allowed to leave the house citing security reasons while ministers and party leaders are campaigning fiercely in the valley. Meanwhile, the President of the People's Conference Sajjad Gani Lone has demanded a probe into the alleged disbursement of money in border Uri in North Kashmir, where voting is going on today.
