New Delhi: The bodies of 11 people out of a total of 12 Indians who died in Thursday's bus crash in Dubai were sent to India on Sunday. The last of the deceased, a 22-year-old young woman, Roshni Mulchandani's last rites  was completed at the Jebel Ali funeral site in the United Arab Emirates on Saturday. Roshni was the youngest among those who died in the crash.

According to information, a social worker who is helping Mulchandani's family said the family of the 22-year-old deceased came from India after the crash was reported, after which he was cremated. The onus was on flight management to complete all formalities to deport the dead bodies. A media group from the Gulf countries quoted the management official as saying that the aircraft, carrying the last three bodies, left for Mumbai at 3.39 a.m. early Sunday. With these bodies being dispatched, the work of sending 11 bodies to India was completed.

With this, the flight management official said that all the bodies were sent back to India as per schedule. The procedures related to this were completed at 11.45 p.m. the past night. Speaking to Media in Dubai, India's Consulate General Vipul said that if employers do not pay, Air India will bring the dead bodies to India free of cost.
