Bihar: In the Patna Boat tragedy where boat carrying around 40 passengers capsized near NIT ghat in the evening yesterday, the death number has reached to 25 today.
The passengers were returning from the diara area and were going to the Ranighat in Patna after attending the Kite festival on the Makar Sankranti day.
PM Narendra Modi has announced the ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh for the family of the deceased and Rs 50,000 will be given to those who suffered serious injuries.
