The most important trait that every actor must possess is the quality of versatility. When we say versatility, an actor must know how to get into the skin of different characters. Acting as a profession is demanding, and the audience expects more from the artists when it comes to essaying diverse roles. Mastering the skills to perform in any medium, actor Abhijit Patil is constantly investing his time in learning different aspects of filmmaking.
Abhijit has lately been in the news for his debut Marathi film 'Rajmudra'. The actor is giving his all before making a breakthrough in the entertainment industry. Besides taking acting workshops for the film, the actor will also make his directorial debut with 'Rajmudra'. Juggling both roles looks challenging, but Patil is optimistic to bring a positive outcome.
As a creative professional, Abhijit feels that one must know a variety of media. He says, "The more familiar you become with the demands of commercial work, the more confidence you will get to learn and execute newer things." Acting and directing are poles apart but are linked to each other. While Abhijit gets a hold of the fundamentals of filmmaking, he is keen to try his hand at writing.
"I believe that the job of a writer is quite underrated. The way they bring an engaging story with their words is commendable. After I groom myself as an actor and a director, I shall give a shot to script writing", said Abhijit. Keeping his aim open to a myriad of opportunities, the actor is ensuring that he expands his creativity to the maximum potential.
Moreover, Abhijit is learning and implementing one thing at a time. In addition, he stated that he does not want to be a jack of all trades and a master of none. "I decided to get into direction after thorough practice sessions of years. On top of it, the pandemic was a blessing in disguise that gave me more time to polish my skills", Abhijit added.
As 'Rajmudra' is said to go on floors soon, Abhijit Patil is already having a web series in the pipeline. He will feature in 'Assi Nabbe Pure Sou' after wrapping up the film. Interestingly, the web series will mark Abhijit's debut in the digital space, and the actor is already excited about it.
