New Delhi: A young man in the country's capital, Delhi, has been stabbed in his chest by a knife after a dispute with his family. This happened on Wednesday night of West Vihar. According to the police, Uday Mehta, a resident of Delhi's Sundar Vihar, was an engineer by profession and was doing work from home amid the corona epidemic.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) A. Kon said that during the investigation, it was revealed that the deceased and his family had a dispute due to which Uday threaten his family members, he would stab himself. The family were trying to persuade him, and he attacked himself.

Police said the rest of the family were trying to comfort him, and he became more aggressive and stabbed his chest in front of his family with a knife. The family transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead. DCP said that advance action has been initiated and further investigation is underway. The death of the young man has been mourned in his family.
