New Delhi: The air quality of the national capital is getting very bad, it is feared that there is no possibility of relief from toxic winds for the next six days. On Friday (October 28), Delhi's pollution level was recorded at 357. Which is the highest level of this season. On Friday, pollution levels were very poor in the NCR region including Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad along with Delhi.

At the same time, the level of pollution in Delhi is also increasing continuously. The Air Quality Index (AQI) crossed the 400 mark at many places last evening, while Delhi's AQI was recorded at 309 on Saturday morning. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the air quality in Delhi was in the very poor category on Friday. At the same time, the air quality is expected to be in the very poor category from October 29 to 31. For the next six days, the air quality is expected to remain in the very poor to poor category on a large scale.

According to the board, a wind speed of 6 to 8 km per hour is likely to blow from the south-northeast direction at surface level in Delhi on Saturday, due to which the sky will be clear in the morning. Also, there will be mist. There will be some change in the wind direction on Sunday and the wind speed may move at a speed of six to eight kmph from the south-north direction. The trend is expected to continue till October 31.
