NEW DELHI: A two-day mourning has been declared by the Delhi and Haryana government over the passing away of the country's former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. "In tribute to former CM and senior leader Sushma Swaraj, the Delhi government declares two-day mourning," the Haryana government also declared a two-day state mourning in honour of Sushma Swaraj, Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said. The CMO of the Haryana government tweeted this information.

Sharing Sisodia's tweet, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote, "Sushmaji was the former CM of Delhi. Delhi will pay her respects and mourn for two days," Kejriwal said in the last message to Sushma Swaraj. In which he wrote, "India has lost a great leader. May God bring peace to her soul.'

It is worth mentioning here that former External Affairs Minister of the country and BJPs top leader Sushma Swaraj passed away late Tuesday night. Sushma Swaraj was admitted to AIIMS late last night due to chest pains where she could not be rescued and was provided with news of her death by doctors.
