New Delhi: On Sunday, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva took part in the "Run for the Nation" marathon held in Narela, where around 3,000 local residents enthusiastically joined the event. Sachdeva highlighted that the marathon embodied Prime Minister Narendra Modi's message, "Khelega India toh Jeetega India" (If India plays, India will win). He emphasized that sports play a crucial role in developing discipline, concentration, and leadership qualities among children.

Earlier, on Saturday, Sachdeva attended the "Raksha Bandhan Utsav 2024" organized by the Bharat Bharti organization in Mayur Vihar. The event celebrated national unity and was aligned with the "Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat" resolution, showcasing India's vibrant spirit of togetherness and progress.

In addition to these activities, last week, Sachdeva participated in the Shri Multan Jyot Mahotsav in Haridwar, where the theme was patriotism. During the festival, Sachdeva joined other devotees in a ceremonial dip in the Ganges and observed the celebration of nationalism through the display of the national flag, 'Tiranga'.

On August 4, Sachdeva also led a cleanliness and tree plantation drive under the "Jhuggi Swachta Abhiyaan" initiative. He noted the importance of the drive due to the rainy season and rising dengue cases, stating that BJP workers are actively involved in cleanliness programs across various slums in Delhi, with plans to continue these efforts.
