Delhi Burari case: Delivery boy claims, "Everything was normal"

New Delhi: Lalit Bhatia, the 44-year-old allegedly accountable for the deaths of 10 members of his family in Delhi’s Burari at Sant Nagar area, was the younger of the two sons.

Lalit along with his brother Bhavnesh, was the son of seventy -seven-year-old Narayani and the late Gopal Das Bhatia. He ran a furniture shop on the ground floor of his home where he was assisted by a domestic help. Kins and Neighbors have described Lalit as a extremely religious man.

It also has been reported that his liking for spiritual and mystical literature apart from stating that he practiced reiki, (a Japanese form of alternative medicine). He had lost his voice after suffering an injury and used to converse with his customers by writing on a notepad. It is also being said that Lalit claimed that he talked to his father who died 10 years ago.

But According to reports of ANI the delivery boy told that it did not seem that there was something wrong.

“They had placed an order for 20 rotis at 10:30pm, I went to deliver it at 10:45pm. Daughter took the order & asked her father to pay me. Everything was normal": Rishi, delivery boy who was the last person to see the 11-member-family which was found dead in Delhi's Burari on July 1
