Delhi BJP state president Virendra Sachdeva has demanded the sealing of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's official residence Sheeshmahal. He has appealed to the Public Works Department to immediately seal this bungalow located at 6 Flag Staff Road and conduct a complete survey of it and present a video report to the public. He says that this bungalow was built illegally and it neither has any approved map nor any Completion Certificate (CC). In such a situation, the Public Works Department has the right to decide what to do with this bungalow next.

Sheeshmahal bungalow controversy:  Sachdeva said that everyone knows about Sheeshmahal bungalow that it was built illegally by Arvind Kejriwal. He argued on this issue that if the Public Works Department has no legality, then it should be sealed immediately in the interest of public safety. He also says that a full investigation is needed about how this bungalow was allotted.

Statement on Atishi Marlena:  The BJP leader further said that Atishi Marlena already has a bungalow at 7 AB Mathura Road allotted to her as a minister. He questioned that when she already has a bungalow, then why is Atishi fuming? He also said that this bungalow was used by former Chief Minister Sheila Dixit from 1998 to 2004, so Atishi should also live in the same bungalow.

Accusation of playing a game with the former secretary:  Sachdeva also said that the Aam Aadmi Party has played a game of handing over and taking back the keys of the Sheeshmahal bungalow with Prashant Ranjan Jha, the special secretary of the former chief minister. He claimed that this situation shows that there are many secrets in the Sheeshmahal, which need to be investigated. The vigilance department has also issued notices to Jha and other officials seeking answers, which makes this matter more sensitive.

Taunt on Manish Sisodia: The BJP president also mentioned Manish Sisodia and said that he is now illegally living in an MP bungalow. In such a situation, he told Atishi that she should shift to the bungalow allotted to her at 7 Mathura Road. His argument was that as per the rules, the bungalow at 6 Flag Staff Road is not a reserved Chief Minister's residence. The Public Works Department has the right to survey its vacant bungalows and decide whether the additional construction done in it should be removed and allotted to a new person or not. This statement of Virendra Sachdeva makes it clear how vigilant the Delhi BJP is about the activities of Aam Aadmi Party officials. It is also clear from their demands and arguments regarding the Sheeshmahal bungalow that the series of political allegations and counter-allegations will continue. Now it remains to be seen what action the Public Works Department takes on this issue and whether the Sheeshmahal bungalow will ultimately be sealed or not.
