New Delhi: A major accident has taken place in Sanjay Gandhi's Transport Nagar of the country's capital Delhi. Here 4 people have died painfully after getting into the sewer. Among the dead were two laborers who worked as wire laying in the sewer line on the contract of MTNL. According to the information, the first two people had come down in the sewer, when they did not come out after a long time, then the third person also got into the sewer to see them, but he also came under the grip of poisonous gas.

After this, an e-rickshaw driver went inside the sewer to save the trio, but he too could get out.  The three then launched a rescue operation. Police said the incident took place on Tuesday evening. 

After the rescue operation that continued till late in the night, the four men were pulled out of the sewer line at around 3:00 pm, who was taken to a hospital, where the doctor declared all of them were brought dead. The police official said none of the four were wearing the necessary safety equipment while entering the sewer.
