New Delhi: A SpiceJet flight on Monday collided with an electric pole at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport before taking off the passengers. The incident happened during the pushback of the aircraft. Giving information about this incident, the airport officials said that after the incident, the aircraft was diverted and the passengers were shifted to another flight.

Airport officials have said that an investigation has been started into the incident. However, fortunately no one was hurt during this incident. According to the information given by the airline, flight number SG 160 was to fly from Delhi to Jammu.

Officials said, "Today, SpiceJet flight number SG 160 was scheduled to operate between Delhi and Jammu. During the push back, the right wing came into close contact with a power pole, causing damage to the ailerons. A replacement flight has been arranged to operate the flight.
