Health Minister of Delhi on corona vaccination says, 'Preparations are complete'

New Delhi: The number of corona infected patients in the country is increasing steadily but is gradually getting to see a decrease in the case. Meanwhile today, on Sunday, the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has approved the vaccine of Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech. Soon, the vaccination process will be started across the country to protect people from corona infection. The Delhi government has already prepared for this vaccination. Once the vaccine is approved, it is first planned to be given to health workers.

Recently, Delhi Health Minister Satendra Jain said, "All preparations have been completed at his place." He said, 'Health workers and frontline workers will be vaccinated in the first phase of vaccination. Delhi currently has 3 lakh health workers and 6 lakh frontline employees. The Delhi government is fully prepared to keep them safe. As soon as the vaccine comes from the Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech, the process of giving it will start.

He also said, 'Cargo planes will be used to deliver the vaccine soon. As soon as the vaccine arrives at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, it will be taken to two cold storage through a special refrigerator ban. After this, the vaccine will reach 609 cold chain point through the special ban. In which some private operators will also be employed. The vaccine will be supplied through this cold chain at 1000 vaccination booths in Delhi. The entire plan has been prepared so that there is no problem in vaccine supply during vaccination. Vaccination booths have been set up in many private hospitals as well as government hospitals.'
