New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has given a major verdict on the opening of Delhi Markaz during Ramadan, which has brought about a drastic change in many parts of the country due to the corona epidemic. The Delhi High Court has allowed 50 persons to offer 5 prayers in the month of Ramadan at Nizamuddin Markaz. The Delhi High Court will hear the matter further on July 16.

The Delhi High Court, while hearing the Nizamuddin Markaz case, referred to the notification of Delhi Disaster Management. There is no order to close down religious places. The court said, 50 people can offer five-time prayers on the first floor of Nizamuddin Markaz. The court, while hearing, said that when all religious places are open, it should also not remain closed.

During the hearing, the Delhi Wakf Board had said that 50-50 persons should also be allowed to offer prayers on three other floors of Markaz. But the court rejected the plea. And only 50 people were allowed to pray on the first floor. In March last year, the Talighi Jamaat's Markaz was criticised for holding a religious meeting in Nizamuddin Markaz due to the Corona virus epidemic. Markaz leader Maulana Saad Kandhavali has not yet joined the investigation even after several notices were issued by delhi police.
