New Delhi: On Tuesday evening, Ph.D student of Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University found dead in his hostel room.
The deceased identified as JR Philemon, a research student from Senapti district in Manipur, found dead in University’s Brahmaputra hostel room. According to the police, “Philemon had not been seen by other students for the past three days.”
“The students informed the university staff who alerted us. We broke open the door in the presence of the students and staff and found Philemon’s decomposed body in the room,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Ishwar Singh said.
As no suicide note was recovered from him, so, police suspected that the reason behind the death can be the overdose of the alcohol.
