In the Delhi violence case, Delhi Police has submitted its reply in the High Court. It said that the anti-CAA statement given by Waris Pathan, Salman Khurshid, Asaduddin Owaisi and other leaders is being investigated. In the last hearing of this case, Delhi Police had said to give a clean chit in the case of making inflammatory speeches to Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Anurag Thakur, Pravesh Verma, Kapil Mishra and Abhay Verma. The police had said that no case is made against these Bharatiya Janata Party leaders.

Delhi Police said that in December 2019, they had lodged 10 FIRs during the commencement of Anti CAA Protest. He was repeatedly requesting the protesters, that the roads are closed due to his performance. Due to which many people are facing problems. People are facing problems. The law and order situation is getting worse. However, it had no effect on the protesters. In the demonstration, women and children were put forward and used as shield. Due to which the police could not take any action.

On 22 February 2020, a crowd of about ten thousand protesters started protesting on the 66 foot road under the Zafarabad Metro station. All these people belonged to the same community, and here also women and children were used as a wall. When this road was blocked, then people started facing a lot of problems. On 23 February 2020, some people came from the Maujpur areas, and started asking protesters to pick them up from here.
