New Delhi: While lofty claims are being made by the Kejriwal government to make government schools world-class in the national capital, the base reality is putting a big question mark on these claims. In the latest case, a girl student was badly injured when a ceiling fan fell on a classroom of a government school in outer Delhi's Nangloi.

The girl, who was injured due to the fall of the school fan, has been admitted to a private hospital in Nangloi, where she is undergoing treatment. The student has also raised big questions about the condition of the school. The student has told that the roof of the class was already dripping. The student said, ''On August 27, the fan in the class fell down. There was moisture in the ceiling and it was dripping, causing the ceiling to crack and the fan to fall down. Classes were going on at that time. The school authorities or the government have not yet commented on the incident.''

MP and BJP leader Manoj Tiwari targeted the Kejriwal government over the incident. He has said 'A daughter of Delhi, who was injured due to the fall of a running fan, is fighting for life and death in the hospital. The character of Arvind Kejriwal's gang is deteriorating, someday news may also come that only half of the school has collapsed.' Manoj Tiwari claimed that there are around 400 such schools in the capital, which can collapse anytime.
