Delhi Weather: Engulfed by dark clouds, rain continued since morning

New Delhi: Delhi-NCR has been receiving heavy rain once again since morning. It is darkly shadowed due to clouds. The sun has not been seen since morning. The speed of trains on the roads has slowed down.  Meanwhile, heavy rains are causing water logging in many areas in the morning. The MET department has issued an orange alert in view of the possibility of heavy rains in Delhi. Intermittent rain may continue throughout the day today.

In this case, the problem of people leaving for office in the morning in the rain may increase. Due to rain, people are facing problems due to waterlogging near Delhi's AIIMS flyover, ring road near Hyatt Hotel, Savitri Flyover on both sides, Maharani Bagh, 11 murti road from Dhaula Kuan, Shahjahan Road, W Point of ITO, Lala Lajpat Rai Marg and Mulchand underpass.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, moderate to heavy rain is likely to occur in different parts of Delhi-NCR, Gurugram, Manesar, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh, Tosham, Bhiwani, Jhajjar, Narnaul, Mahendragarh, Kosli. It is raining late at night in Delhi as well as in Mumbai. Water has accumulated in many areas. Early morning office goers have faced waterlogging on the streets.
