New Delhi: The capital of The Country, Delhi, is now expected to get relief from the scorching heat soon. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is now a forecast of continuous western disturbance and low level of purvaic winds, which can get rid of the sultry heat.  

According to the IMD, by today i.e. the evening of June 15, the weather in Delhi can take a turn for the worse. On the one hand, where the heat wave conditions are over in Delhi, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has given a relief update on the rain. Delhi is likely to receive light rain from today, the evening of June 15. Pre-monsoon activities will be seen almost for a week and as per the weather forecast, monsoon is likely to hit Delhi between June 25 and 27.

The weather forecast said conditions are favourable for the further advance of monsoon in some parts of eastern India and central India on June 15-16. The IMD has predicted thundershowers or light rain in Delhi today amid cloudy movement. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Delhi is likely to be 29 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is likely to be 40 degrees Celsius.
