New Delhi: Due to favourable wind speed, the air quality of Delhi has once again seen an improvement on Wednesday morning, but despite this, it has been recorded in the poor category. The Air Quality Index (AQI) improved from 303 at 6 pm on Tuesday to 262 at 6 am from 312 on Monday at 4 pm on Diwali. 

On the other hand, the air quality in Ghaziabad (262), Noida (246), Greater Noida (196), Gurugram (242) and Faridabad (243) was recorded in the moderate to poor category. Reports say a QI between zero and 50 is said to be good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, and 401 and 500 severe.

Delhi's particulate matter (PM) 2.5 pollution level was three to four times higher than the national standard of 60 micrograms per cubic meter for 24 hours on Wednesday morning. Air quality in the capital on Tuesday was recorded as very poor after people in several parts of Delhi banned firecrackers on Diwali night, but the pollution level for the next day was the lowest since 2015, which was warm and windy. was due to the situation. Delhi and its neighbouring areas have witnessed severe air quality post-Diwali in the last two years, with incidents of stubble burning also being reported this month. Due to this intense mist has been seen for many days.
