Mumbai: The threat of corona in Maharashtra has once again been overshadowed. As per the recent information received, 20 new delta plus variant patients have been found in the state last Wednesday and this has taken the number of delta plus variant patients in the state to 65. With this, 1-1 patients have been found from Chandrapur and Akola. Let me tell you all that corona testing is being given special attention along with the restriction measures in the State for corona control.

Here, 100 samples from each district are being sent to the lab for a special test. At the same time, genome sequencing of many people is being done regularly. As per the information received, 65 delta plus variant patients have been found in the state from the examination of this genome sequence. Of these 65 Delta Plus variant patients, 32 are male and 33 are female. The highest number of 33 Delta Plus patients are reported to be between the ages of 19 and 45. Similarly, 17 Delta Plus patients are between the ages of 46 and 60. The patients of these Delta Plus variants are said to include 7 children below the age of 18 years and 8 elderly people above the age of 60 years.

Let me tell you that out of the 65 delta plus variant patients reported in the state, except for one death case in Ratnagiri district, the infection in most patients is very mild and moderate. At the moment coronavirus is constantly changing its structure, but it is part of the natural life order of the virus. There is nothing different about it.
