Saints, mahants, and priests of Mahakal Temple have expressed objections regarding the new album of rapper Badshah. Rapper Badshah has used some obscene words while taking the name of Lord Bholenath in one of his songs. Along with the priests of the Mahakal temple, saints and mahants have also expressed strong objections regarding his album. The priests say that if the name of Lord Shiva has to be taken, then make his hymns and play them a lot, but if you misuse the name of God for your own fame, then it is not going to be tolerated.

Taking objection to this song, Mahamandaleshwar Acharya Shekhar, the founder of Akhand Hindu Sena, has said that we have no objection to making any song, but it is necessary to treat the names of our gods and goddesses with respect. If any kind of playing with their name and their honour is being done, then we will not tolerate it. Whereas Paramhans Awadheshpuri Maharaj has taken objection to this song and said that there are many objectionable words in the song, which is a sheer insult to be taken with the holy name of Lord Shiva. Rapper Badshah should either make a song or a bhajan of Lord Shiva. If this kind of cheap experiment is being done in the name of God, then it will be a mockery of Sanatan culture, which we will not tolerate at all.

On the other hand, Pandit Mahesh Guru, the priest of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple, has said about this that Lord Bholenath is not an object of anyone's use; he got fame by using his name rightly or wrongly anywhere and forgot him. He has said that in the past I have also raised objections on many such subjects, and even today I just want to say that taking the name of Lord Bholenath with obscene words is also a sin. I object to this song and also warn that if the name of Lord Bholenath is not removed from this song as soon as possible and an apology is not made publicly, then an FIR will be lodged against Badshah in the police station. In this regard, Hinduist leader Ankit Choubey has said that Sanatan Dharma is not a toy that can be used by any person according to his selfishness. We have taken many steps in the past to protect Sanatan Dharma; if the name of Lord Bholenath is not removed from this song, then a fierce movement is also going to be done.
