Durg: A big news story is coming out of Durg district in Chhattisgarh, where the police have exposed a big prostitution racket going on. Police arrested nine boys on the spot and rescued nine girls working in the spa. The owner of the spa centre fled as soon as the police raided. In search of him, the police raided various places and arrested him as well.

The same spa centre was running in Bhilai's Surya Mall. The police got the news of this from an informant. Thereafter, a team was formed, and raids were conducted at the spa. The team of IPS Nikhil Rakhecha and IPS Vaibhav raided the Essence Spa Centre located at Surya Mall under the Smriti Nagar police post. Illegal work of prostitution was being done in the spa centre on the demand of the customer. Beautiful girls from Assam and Bengal were being forced into prostitution. Disclosing the incident, Durg SP Dr. Abhishek Pallav said that complaints of prostitution were being received at the Essence Spa Centre located at Surya TI Mall Junwani.

The same was raided by the police team under the leadership of CSP Bhilainagar Nikhil Rakhecha. Because of this, illegal work was being done in the spa center by women called from other states, from Assam and Bengal. Due to the raid, customers and women were caught red-handed on the spot. The owner of the spa centre was also involved in this illegal act. In the same case, SP Durg Dr. Abhishek Pallav told that 9 customers have been arrested along with the owner of the spa and the operator of the spa, Mohammad Sharif Khan. Proceedings are ongoing in the matter. Action is being taken against the criminals under the Beaten Act.
