This work will now be digitized. With a special GPS base tracking system, officers from JE to Chief Engineer level will be able to monitor this.
Deputy CM and PWD B&R Minister Dushyant Chautala told the media that roads and government buildings including various state ways in Haryana are constructed through this department. This work also falls in the category of major development works done by the government. But during the metering in such construction works, corruption has also happened, because till now this work was done in a manual way in the manual book. But there is no scope for such corruption in future, for this, the government is going to make new system.
Dushyant said that to increase transparency in the development work done by the department, the measurement work on the site will now be digitized. This work will now be done on the tablet through the GPS base tracker system. Special software is also being made for this. Top officers from JE to Chief Engineer will be able to monitor the entire work of measurement. He said that the top officers will go on the spot and verify the measurement works.
