Amravati: Navneet Rana, an independent MP from Amravati in Maharashtra, has been admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital ever since she came out of jail. After coming out of jail, she was brought to Lilavati Hospital for a medical check-up. She complained of spondylitis and was admitted after a checkup.

Ever since Navneet Rana was admitted to the hospital, the leaders have been gathering to know her health. Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and leader of opposition Devendra Fadnavis reached Lilavati Hospital on Saturday to enquire about his condition. Fadnavis took stock of Navneet's husband Ravi Rana about his health and discussed it for a long time. After the ongoing  Hanuman Chalisa controversy, the Maharashtra Police arrested Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana.

Devendra Fadnavis' convoy, which had arrived to meet Navneet Rana, was stopped by the police for some time. In fact, CM Uddhav Thackeray was a few kilometres away from Lilavati Hospital at another event. In such a situation, Fadnavis's convoy was stopped from leaving Lilavati Hospital. The CM's convoy was passing by then. Earlier, BJP leader Chitra Wagh met Navneet Rana at the hospital. He said that like this government, Ravana was not so angry after hearing about the Hanuman Chalisa. History will mention how an MP and MLA was put in jail on charges of Hanuman Chalisa.
