Shimla: After the news of banning Rs 2,000 notes in India, a devotee offered 400 notes of Rs 2,000 i.e. 8,00,000 in the Maa Jwalamukhi Temple in Himachal Pradesh. Now this amount has become a matter of discussion. According to the news received, this amount was offered in the donation box kept near Akbar's umbrella in the temple.

Suresh Kumar, the junior engineer of the temple, told that many big devotees come to the court of the mother, who often make such offerings at the feet of the mother. This amount offered in the court of Maa Jwalamukhi will be spent on the facilities of the devotees in the temple. At the same time, Dharmendra Sharma, chairman of the Municipal Council Jwalamukhi, told that till September, the notes of Rs 2,000 can be changed in the bank. In such a situation, if 2,000 rupee notes come in the court, then definitely the temple will benefit from them. This money will be spent on the development works of the temple. Here DC Kangra Nipun Jindal has said that there is no news on this matter.
