New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Monday addressed a webinar regarding the positive impact of the Union Budget in the education sector. In his address, he said that our youth today is the cornerstone of the future of the country. Young generation is the nation builders of the future. In such a situation, to strengthen the young generation means to empower the future of India.
He further said that digital connectivity is what kept our education system alive in this crisis of Corona epidemic. We are seeing how the digital divide is rapidly shrinking in the country. PM Modi said that, 'This budget will help in implementing the National Education Policy. National Digital University is an unprecedented step. This can solve the problem of shortage of seats. There will be unlimited seats. I request all the stakeholders to ensure that Digital Universities are started at the earliest.
In his address, PM Modi said that in the Union Budget 2022, a lot of emphasis has been laid on 5 things related to the education sector. The first is universalization of quality education, the second is skill development, the third is urban planning and design. Fourth is Internationalization – world class foreign universities in India and fifth is AVGC – Animation Visual Effects Gaming Comic.
