Aparajita is the target of Akshay's attempt to steal the kalash. Akshay becomes enraged as Chavi holds it and pulls it away from him. As she has always only wanted to be respected in the home, Mohini declares that she doesn't want the family to argue. Disha slaps her as Akshay approaches and orders her to stop, shocking everyone in the room. Akshay is yelled at by Aparajita as she cradles Disha and orders him not to ever touch her again.

Disha explains how Akshay and Mohini intend to evict them from the home. When Aparajita discovers this, she asks him if this is the reason, he tricked her into signing the documents. Mohini is told to leave by Akshay because it is his house, and he wants to live there with her. When Amma hears that, she is shocked. Aparajita declines to leave the house, and Dadi collapses. Everyone rushes to help her, and after a moment she awakens. Aparajita declares that she is not leaving.

She is reassured by Aparajita that she won't leave her and that she should stop worrying and just concentrate on getting some rest. Later, Aparajita confronts Akshay for slapping Disha and threatens to punish him if he repeats the offence when it involves her daughters. She queries Mohini's right to occupy the property. She is his wife, Akshay says, and Aparajita points out that they are still married and that they have three children together. She then asks him if he doesn't even want to claim paternity for his kids. Aparajita is forced to leave within the next two days, no matter what, says Mohini as she leaves angrily after threatening him.
